Qingdao Chaoyin School was founded in 1998. After more than two decades of development, it now has Chaoyin Primary School, Chaoyin Middle School, West Coast New Area Chaoyin School, Laoshan District Shuyuan School (Laoshan Campus of Chaoyin School), Qingdao No. 23 Middle School (Chongqing South Road Campus of Chaoyin Middle School), Chaoyin High School, and Canada Chaoyin Bilingual School. There are over 8,000 students in total.
Campus Characteristics
Years of educational practice have formed the distinctive “Chaoyin Model”: the school’s scale has been continuously expanding, and all campuses strictly follow the “Four Unifications” principle, implementing management intercommunication, research and training linkage, cultural co-construction, and quality advancement together. Over nearly three decades of operation, the school has fully implemented the Party’s educational policy, fulfilled the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talent, and taken it as its mission to cultivate individuals capable of adapting to future social development. It has vigorously developed quality-oriented education and achieved remarkable results. Every year, thousands of students win awards in various national, provincial, and municipal competitions, and the school’s performance in the high school entrance examination has consistently ranked among the top in Qingdao for over a decade. While inheriting the “Chaoyin genes”, each campus of Chaoyin Middle School has also developed its own characteristics, forming a “one school, one brand” model.
Chaoyin Middle School (Guangrao Curriculum Reform Campus), formerly known as Chaoyin Middle School (Guangrao Road Campus), is the birthplace of Chaoyin Middle School. In line with the direction of national educational policy reform, this campus was upgraded to a curriculum reform campus in 2023. Through reforms in teaching and learning methods, it aims to cultivate students’ innovative abilities and core competencies, laying a solid foundation for their lifelong development.
Chao Yin Middle School (Zhenjiang Road Campus) is committed to building a technological profile, establishing diverse platforms such as club activities, elective courses, and cloud classrooms. It integrates high-quality resources driven by competitions, fostering a favorable ecosystem of “promoting learning through competitions and enhancing abilities through innovation”. It has been consecutively awarded the title of “Gold Medal School” in the National Informatics Olympiad for ten years.
Chao Yin Middle School (Jinsha Road Campus) has been pre-authorized for the IB-MYP (International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme). As a member school of the Chao Yin Education Group’s IB consortium, the school deeply integrates the framework of the IB curriculum with the new national curriculum standards for basic education in China and the Chao Yin culture, laying a solid foundation for students’ growth and success.
The Xihaian New Area ChaoYin School was established by the Xihaian New Area Education and Sports Bureau in the form of introducing high-quality educational resources. Laoshan District Shuyuan School (Chaoyin Laoshan Campus) is a nine-year integrated school established by the Laoshan District Government and the Laoshan District Education and Sports Bureau to implement the “Strategic Northward Advance” of Laoshan District. It is entrusted to Chaoyin Education Group for management and represents a brand-new educational model initiated by Laoshan District to introduce high-quality educational resources.
Qingdao No. 23 Middle School (Chao Yin Middle School, Chongqing South Road Campus) operates in a cooperative form with the Education and Sports Bureau of Shibei District, and is entrusted to the management of Chao Yin Education Group. The school has blazed a trail of school management and teaching and learning that suits the actual conditions of this campus, driving up the quality of regional education.
Chao Yin Primary School is the first IB World Member School in Shandong Province that can accept both Chinese and foreign students.
