Zhang Yishuai

As a representative of the People’s Congress of Shibei District, Qingdao City, he presides over the overall work of the group. He adheres to the path of open development and continuously promotes the internationalization development strategy of the group. In 2018, he introduced the IB curriculum, which is hailed as the “most mature international quality education” in the world, to Qingdao, making Chaoyin Primary School officially a primary school with pre-authorization from the IBO(International Baccalaureate Organization). Under his impetus, Chaoyin Education Group has collaborated with the Faculty of Education at UBC(the University of British Columbia, which ranks among the top 30 in the world) to conduct teaching and research as well as teacher training. In 2021, the Canadian Super Silver School, which he led and promoted, was put into use, providing high-quality education from kindergarten to high school and spreading Super Silver’s high-quality education overseas. Chao Yin thus officially became a private education group that established schools overseas. Under his leadership, Chaoyin Education Group has pioneered a development pattern of “rooted in Qingdao, facing the whole country and going global”. Through exchanges and integration with international education, it has ushered in a new situation of development.

He is an expert principal who carries the multiple cultural genes of a prestigious public and private school in Qingdao and has rich experience in front-line education, teaching and management.

He once served as the vice principal in charge of teaching at Qingdao No. 9 Middle School and has rich experience in teaching and management. He advocates an efficient classroom that emphasizes “concise explanation, good guidance, stimulating interest, and inspiring thinking”, and cultivates students’ learning qualities of “being willing to learn, able to learn, and enjoying learning”. Under his leadership, Chaoyin High School has established itself with quality and won the recognition of parents and students. Since its establishment, the quality of student intake and educational and teaching achievements have been continuously improving, and it has now ranked among the top high schools in Qingdao.

A senior high school teacher, a provincial-level distinguished teacher in Shandong Province, and the first batch of famous principals in Qilu. He has presided over more than ten national, provincial and municipal research projects. In particular, the “Class Small Group Development Community Management” he established in 2004 and the “Four-Ring Progressive Problem Teaching Method” he founded in 2007 have achieved remarkable results. He/She has been honored with titles such as the National Advanced Individual in Teaching and Research Work, the National Advanced Individual in Curriculum Reform, the National Outstanding Educator, and the Nomination Award for the 2012 Shandong Education News Figure of the Year. He/She has published one monograph and edited and published one high school mathematics teaching book and two junior high school mathematics teaching books.
